SKATE AT YOUR OWN RISK
By purchasing an admission ticket and/or entering the ice, you are aware that ice skating involves certain inherent risks which may cause serious injury or death.  You freely volunteer to participate, and accept all known and unknown risks while in our facility.  Further, you release Westfield Promenade, Woodland Hills Ice, its sponsors, operators, and equpment suppliers against any claims and liability for any loss, damage, injury, or expense you may incur.

The Participant and/or their parent(s) or guardian understands, acknowledges, and agrees that ice skating is an inherently dangerous and physically demanding activity.  Participating skater assumes full responsibility for any risk of injury, property damage, or death while participating in activities at this establishment. While rules, equipment and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury or death does exist. Participant knowingly and freely assumes all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of Woodland Hills Ice or Westfield Promenade

Participant and/or their parent(s) or guardian hereby waive any and all claims including, but not limited to, bodily injury including death and property damage they may have against Woodland Hills Ice and Westfield Promenade and all sponsors of the ice rink establishment and their subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers arising out of Participant's use of the ice skating rink and all surrounding areas.

Participants and/or their parent(s) or guardians and on behalf of their heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin,  hereby release and hold harmless Woodland Hills Ice, Westfield Promenade and Ice Rink Events, and all sponsors of the ice rink establishment and their subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability for any loss, damage, or expense that the Participants or their respective heirs, assigns and legal representatives may suffer as a result of Participant's use of the ice skating rink, from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to, negligence or breach of contract on the part of Woodland Hills Ice, Westfield Promenade, and all sponsors of the ice rink establishment, in the operation, supervision, design, maintenance, or condition of the ice surface, or of the ice rink and all surrounding areas.

Participant and/or their parent(s) or guardians agree(s) to abide by the "Code of Skater Conduct", as posted within the ice rink area, for the use of the ice skating rink and will follow the instructions of the operating staff of the rink.  Failure to follow these codes of conduct may result in the termination of Participant's use of the ice skating rink, the rental ice skates, and the surrounding areas without refund. Participant willingly agrees to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If participant observes any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, they will bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately.

Participant permits Woodland Hills Ice and Westfield Promenade  to use any photographs, videotapes, recordings or any other records taken while on the ice skating rink premises for publicity, advertising, or any other legitimate purpose.

Should any legal action or proceeding be commenced by either party hereto in connection with this release of liability agreement, the prevailing party or parties shall be entitled to recover from the losing party the prevailing parties' actual attorneys' fees and costs incurred in connection with such action or proceeding.

By purchasing a ticket or entering the ice, Participant (or parent/guardian of participant) understands that they are releasing Woodland Hills Ice, Westfield Promenade and all sponsors of Woodland Hills Ice from any potential claims for negligence and for any damages caused by Woodland Hills Ice,  Ice Rink events, Westfield Pomenade, and any and all sponsor's  negligence. Participants and or parent/guardian understands that I give up substantial rights by purchasing a ticket or entering the ice, and do so freely and voluntarily without inducement.

As a parent or guardian with legal responsibility for the Participant, by purchasing a ticket on having your minor enter the ice you consent and agree to his/her release as provided above.  Parent/Guardian of participant agrees to indemnify Woodland Hills Ice, Westfield Promenade, Ice Rink Events, and all sponsors of the ice skating rink establishment and their subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liabilities incident to the minor child's involvement or participation in the ice skating activities offered by the ice skating rink establishment, even if arising from the negligence of Woodland Hills Ice, Westfield Promenade and/or a sponsor of the ice skating rink establishment to the fullest extent permitted by law.
