Skating School packages include skate rental plus admission to one session on day of class. New session now starting!! In addition, we offer Intro to Skating Classes throughout the season. Intro Classes are only $10 each and include skate rental. Intro class is free if you sign up for skatng school on the day of your intro.

Intro Level Classes are $10 per class including skate rental and are on a drop in basis. Prepaid reservations or coupons may be used if redeemed at time of reservation only. Maximum 15 students per class.
Intro to Hockey Clinic is a FREE class sponsored by Discount Hockey. Skate and helmet rental not included.

All other classes require pre-registration.

Make up policy: Classes can me made up at any time during the session (please choose most appropriate level) or traded for ticket to be used at anytime.

CLASS INFORMATION

Tiny Tots (3-5 years):
A playful class that starts off ice. Children may wear double blade skates. Helmet required. Learn to skate. 2 foot glides, dips and swizzles.

Beginner (6 & above)
Learn skating basics: Skating forward and backwards, dips, forward & backward swizzles, one foot glides, spins and two foot jumps.

Beginner Hockey (All Ages) focuses on hockey skating basics: skating forwards and backwards, snowplow and hockey stops, and turns.

Advanced Beginner (All Ages): Skating forwards and backwards, forward crossovers, two foot spins, bunny hops.

Novice (All Ages): Perfect the basics of forward crossovers, backward crossovers, beginning jumps, spins and spirals.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Private instruction is available by appointment. Lessons can be scheduled by calling Woodland Hills Ice at 818-854-0458 or emailing karen@woodlandhillsice.com. Private lessons are $40 per half hour for an individual or $50 per half hour for two people. Each skater there after will be charged an additonal $10.00 per skater. For groups of 10-15, a flat fee of $100.00 will be charged for a half hour lesson. Admission and skate rental is included for 30 minutes only or duration of lesson.
